Fall Skin Care & Makeup Trends at New York Fashion Week
February 15, 2013

Committed to bringing you the best of beauty tips from the professionals, Repêchage headed backstage at Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week to be apart of the skin and makeup trends for Fall 2013!

Our first stop, the Hernan Lander show at Lincoln Center. Celebrities and show attendees all left with Repêchage products in tow!

Backstage, celebrity makeup artist Tina Turnbow (fresh off a red eye from the Grammys) demonstrated the makeup look to her team of makeup artists. Once the look was complete, the makeup artists received a bag full of Repêchage NYFW must-haves and instantly picked out the Repêchage Hydra Dew® Moisturizing Day Cream and the Repêchage T Zone Balance Moisturizing Complex  to prep model’s skin to create a healthy, dewy glow. The look was completed with a sparkly and smoky eye and finished with a nude lip.

Day two the Repêchage team headed downtown for the Love by Binetti Show held at an uber-exclusive artist’s community in the Meat Packing District of New York City. Valerie Garcia, who caters to the likes of Twilight’s Anna Kendrick, headed the makeup team and started her model off with a hydrating spritz of the Repêchage Algo Mist.

After her demo of striking eyes and an oxblood lip, her team quickly dived into their Repêchage skin care kits and pulled out the Repêchage Hydra Dew Moisturizing Day Cream and the Repêchage T Zone Balance Moisture Complex. Their makeup tip: put a little moisturizer on a pallet and then use your foundation brush to apply to the face. This will give you the perfect, dewy base for your foundation plus it will prevent your liquid foundation from saturating your brush. You won’t waste your foundation on your brushes and they will be easier to clean!
