Hi I’m Natalie Otto, licensed Esthetician and Corporate Educator at Repêchage. Today I want to demonstrate for you how to remove your eye-makeup – the right way!
With all the mascara, eye liner, and eye shadows that we wear on a daily basis, it important we remove our eye-makeup each night, and remove it properly. Sometimes we utilize soap and water or baby oil, but those things can be irritating for the gentle eye area. It is important to use something that is formulated specially for the sensitive area around the eye. I recommend Repêchage Opti-Cleanse™ Extra Gentle Non-Oily Eye Make-up Remover. It is fragrance free, oil free and has a neutral PH.
What you’re going to do is fold a cotton square twice and saturate it with the eye make up remover. Hold your eyebrow down, and move the cotton in downward, gentle strokes. Go inwards and around, finishing at the temple area. Repeat these motions until the eye area is thoroughly cleansed. You can see it removes the makeup very well Rinse off with clean water after to make sure that all makeup is off. These simple steps will ensure the skin is not getting irritated.
