In the last few weeks we’ve given you tips for giving specific areas of your body a deep cleanse, but this week we want to give you tips on how to deep cleanse the rest of your body!
To give your body a true deep cleanse, start with a body scrub. Using a scrub all over your body at least once a week is key. Scrubs with olive oil especially are great, as olive oil is an anti-septic and is very gentle on your skin. Make sure to use the scrub all over – not just in select areas! You can also incorporate dry brushing before showering– It will boost circulation and get rid of dead skin cells.
This also applies to your body wash – don’t just concentrate on particular areas. If you are using a body buffer, make sure to regularly disinfect it, and replace it every 3-4 weeks. These are excellent at helping to give your skin a deep cleanse, but can be a breeding ground for bacteria and mold. If not disinfected properly, irritation and even breakouts on the skin can occur.
Thank you for watching!
