If you’ve been scrolling on TikTok lately, you’ve probably seen the latest wellness trend — the “everything shower.” It’s so famous that the hashtag has more than 696.9 million views on the app. For those unfamiliar, the everything shower is where you spend more time than a typical shower experience doing all your skin and beauty treatments in one sitting, such as using hair masks, dry brushing, conditioning, and more. It’s a moment to truly indulge in self-care — one trend we can actually get behind.

Embracing the everything shower trend isn't just about pampering yourself; it's an opportunity to create a skincare routine you can stick with and feel good about. The beauty of it lies in its simplicity. Even basic steps can make a significant difference in giving your skin the care it deserves. What matters most is choosing well-developed products that have been tested to ensure real results in creating smooth, glowing, healthy skin.

What better way to start the New Year than creating a new self-care ritual utilizing the essence of an everything shower? Perhaps start a nighttime ritual using rich, soothing products like our new Vita Cura Sea Spa Body Set, featuring a sea salt body exfoliator, body cleanser, and body moisturizer (all bundled with a dry brush while supplies last). Pro tip: For days when you want to turn your shower experience into a bath, use our Vita Cura® Cellusea Renewal™ Dead Sea Bath Salts with a free bath pillow for a true spa experience.

Here, we take you through what can become your new body and skincare ritual. It will have you and your skin loving this new self-care trend.

Step 1: Set the Scene

Get into the vibes of an everything shower by creating the perfect mood. Dim the lights, put on soothing music, and light your favorite candle.

Step 2: Exfoliate

Once your setting is just right, make time to exfoliate using one of two methods. Our Dry Body Brush with Exfoliating Cactus Bristle gently exfoliates and stimulates the body to refine and smooth the skin’s texture with natural cactus bristles. As seen on the Today show, knowing how to dry brush will help improve circulation, is known to help stimulate lymphatic drainage, aid in stress relief, and so much more. Another great way to exfoliate is by using the Vita Cura Sea Spa Glow. Enter your shower, and before turning on the water, massage the product over your body, paying special attention to heels, elbows, and knees. Turn your shower on and rinse off. Our energizing seaweed and marine salt scrub is made with triple mint oils and aloe vera to leave your skin soft and revitalized.

Step 3: Apply Face Mask

The best time to apply a face mask is right when you get in the shower. The steam from the shower will help soften skin and allow better absorption of all the goodness of the product. Some of our favorites are the Honey and Almond Scrub, which smells just like a freshly baked oatmeal cookie. Leave on for 10-15 minutes as a deep cleansing mask or rinse off in the shower for quick skin smoothing and cleansing. Another great option is our One Minute Exfoliating Mask, which you apply like a mask but works like a scrub. This exfoliating facial mask helps to deep cleanse and absorb excess oil without drying. Apply a thin layer over the face and neck and let sit on the face for one minute before rinsing off in the shower.

Step 4: Shampoo

Get things going by applying a cleansing or clarifying shampoo to your scalp and roots. Slowly feel the invigorating effects work through your hair, and double rinse to remove all excess product.

Step 5: Wash Body

Next, use a shower gel or body wash. It’s important to use a cleanser that won’t dry out skin, especially during winter. Be mindful of any harsh ingredients in certain products and instead opt for ones designed with gentle cleansing in mind. We recommend our new Vita Cura® Sea Spa Body Cleanser. The rich, luxurious foam infuses skin with vitamins, minerals, and amino acids from seaweed, aloe, willow bark, sage, and lemon balm to help deep cleanse and soften skin naturally. Add a few squeezes onto a body puff, and you’re on your way to a rejuvenating shower moment.

Step 6: Condition Hair

Apply a conditioner to your hair from mid-head down to the roots. This step is crucial to ensure you add moisture back into your hair to smooth the hair follicles. Not only does it make your hair extra smooth and silky, but it’ll provide a gorgeous shine.

Step 7: Layer Body Products

While skin is still damp, layer any other body products, such as body oil and our New Vita Cura® Sea Spa Body Moisturizer. This creamy lotion is power-packed with nutrients from seaweed, including 12 vitamins, 18 amino acids, and 42 trace elements and minerals. It’s the perfect finish to your body care ritual. For targeted results, use the Vita Cura® Celluséa Firm™ Neck and Body Serum, which dramatically improves the appearance of the skin. It’s best paired with the LED Radio Frequency and EMS Skin Tightening Machine. Use Red LED light to lessen the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and enhance your skin’s moisture.

Step 8: Style Hair

Finish your everything shower by giving your hair the attention it deserves with our Hydra-Amino 18 Hair Spa Serum. Formulated with rich nutritive botanical oils, the serum helps lock in and restore essential moisture. Apply to damp hair, working from the ends to the middle of your strands, then use a wide-tooth comb to gently distribute the serum evenly from the middle of your strands down to the ends. You can even use our hair serum to give yourself a hair massage — an even more relaxing way to end your everything shower.

As you embrace the everything shower this year, our Vita Cura Sea Spa Body Set (limited time offer) will be your trusted companion, elevating your routine with a touch of luxury and expert skincare. Experiment with various steps and discover a personalized routine that works for your body and hair and brings joy to future pampering. Happy showering!
