Anti-aging: 3 Tips for the Night time
February 26, 2015

Last week we discussed our tips for creating a proper skin care routine, which I hope you check out if you missed it! This week we are going to make specific recommendations for aging skin and what you should be doing at night!

The first tip is to use an anti-aging serum. Before you go straight to the night cream, give your skin some extra nourishment and hydration with an anti-aging serum like our Vita Cura Cell Renewal Serum. Just apply 10 drops on the face, neck and décolleté, and gently massage into your skin. Remember, as we age, our natural oil production slows down and skin looks dully and dry.

After you use a serum, now your skin is ready for a night cream! While you’re getting your beauty rest give your skin the opportunity to have all of the anti-aging ingredients penetrate and do work on your skin. Our Opti-Firm Renewal Complex is great to use as it has Grape Seed Oil, Ulva Lactuca Seaweed and Shea Butter which all are all ingredients that help to moisturize and repair the skin, and reduce those unwanted wrinkles.

When applying, don’t just put your cream on your face! Apply in upward strokes on the face, and downward strokes on your throat too! Remember, the neck is just as important in showing signs of aging as the face!

Don’t forget to use an eye cream! Get rid of circles, puffiness, crow’s feet and wrinkles with a peptide rich formula like in our Opti-Firm Eye Contour Cream.

Every morning and night just apply around the eye contour area in a circular motion and use a gentle tapping motion, using your index finger.

Stick to this routine, and get your minimum 7-8 hours of beauty sleep each night, eat right, exercise, and you’re on your way to reversing the signs of aging and looking your best!
