Hi I’m Natalie Otto. During the winter time, some of our habits may be impacting our skin. Here are some tips for what you should and should not be doing.
Tip #1: Don’t use soap. If you’re one who opts for the bar of soap to clean your skin, it’s time to toss it away. Soap is very dehydrating for the skin. Instead, do use a soap-free and conditioning shower gel, like our Sea Spa Body Wash. Between the seaweed that helps lock moisture into your skin, and seven natural essential oils including Orange, Lime, Coriander and Mint, you’re going to see a difference.
Tip #2: Don’t use dehydrating lip products. Lips are super thin, and as we’re sure you’ve experienced, can get super dry. Instead, do treat your lips with hydrating products. We love to use our Essential oil of Seaweed to nourish the lips, and opt for a conditioning lip gloss, like our Mantra Conditioning Lip Gloss (a beautiful dark berry color for the winter I might add) instead a matte lip stick. This is going to leave your lips with not only a beautiful color, but flake-free.
Tip #3: Don’t opt for sugary snacks. We know its winter which means sweaters and long sleeve clothing so we may not feel as guilty choosing salty and sugary snacks. However, for the sake of beauty it’s important to opt for something healthier. We are true believers that beauty works from the inside out. If you live a healthy life style, you’re going to feel better, and that will show on the outside.
