One of the most unfortunate things about the winter time for our skin is the dryness that ensues! For those with super-dehydrated skin, here are some tips on how you can fix this winter skin issue.
Our first tip is to cover up. When you’re outdoors, make sure you’re bundled up and wearing your hat, scarf, and gloves! Cold air means low humidity, which means drier skin!
Our second tip is to turn down that indoor heat! High heat also means low humidity, which can contribute to tight and flaky skin. So if you’re used to turning it up a notch, be aware this is going to contribute to dry skin.
Our last tip – If you’re one who sees flakes all over your face when it comes winter time, you need an extra-emollient moisturizer to hydrate your skin, like our Hydra Dew® Moisturizing Day Cream. This moisturizer in particular is made up of super- hydrating ingredients, including Codium Tomentosum Seaweed – a type of seaweed that is known to help increase moisture by 50% long term, and sunflower seeds and sesame seed oil – both of which have excellent moisturizing and antioxidant properties.
DEMONSTRATE – To use it, simply apply the cream with light upward and outward movements, and use both morning and night.
