In recognition for outstanding community service during the ongoing COVID-19 health crisis, Repêchage was presented with the Hero Award by Secaucus Mayor Michael Gonnelli, members of the Secaucus Town Council as well as representatives of the Hudson Regional Hospital in a ceremony at the Hudson Regional Hospital in Secaucus NJ.
Repêchage is honored to serve our global family, as well as our local community as we face the ongoing challenges of the current COVID-19 crisis. We were truly honored and grateful to receive the Hero Award by local hospital and government officials for essential care donations we have made to the medical and first response community.
The ongoing donation of the Repêchage® Hand Sanitizer Collection as well as the Repêchage® Hand Wash with Botanicals to the First Response Community includes Hospital Staff, Nurses, Doctors, EMTs, Firefighters and the Police Force. Secaucus is the NJ location of the Repêchage ISO 9001:2015 certified headquarters and manufacturing facility.
Repêchage formulated and manufactured the Hand Sanitizer Collection and Hand Wash within two weeks of this emerging COVID 19 health crisis.
Repêchage COO, David Sarfati accepted the award at the ceremony after Mayor Gonnelli, members of the Town Council and representatives from the Hudson Regional Hospital thanked the honorees for their dedication and selfless service to the Hospital and First Response community, noting how their contributions speaks to the commitment Secaucus has shown to the hospital, its citizenry and to its emergency service people.
Addressing the large audience, Mayor Gonnelli thanked the honorees on behalf of the hospital and first responders, noting “You stepped up, and without you, we wouldn’t be here today.”
Dr. Nizar Kifaieh, MD, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Hudson Regional Hospital thanked the honorees for their support throughout the past months during the pandemic. “During that time, when everyone here was really putting their life on the line, trying to take care of patients and making sure everything was secure, a lot of people contributed to our staff to help us, to give their support so that we could continue to do what we had to do to take care of the patients and the community. It was really hard work, and it was great to see all the companies come forward and help us do that.”
“We are honored to have received this award, and to serve our community," said Repêchage COO David Sarfati. “As a member of the NJ and Greater New York community, and as a manufacturer in the USA, we stand with and support both our local community as well as continue to provide for our customers through-out the US and the world.”
During these unprecedented times, Repêchage continues to support our global and local community as much as we can.
